Frank was formerly a Sergeant-Major, an Officer appointment within cKs.
We have entered the final stretch of our intra-clan doubles tournament. The 2nd official cKs Doubles tournament started off with 8 clans and now four weeks later it has dwindled down to just four remaining clans. Inglorious Masters is in first place with 9 territories, followed by Team Third Wheel and The Mooninites with 4 territories a piece, and finally there is the Deadly Kelowna Boyz with 1 territory.
The doubles tournament should be wrapping up within the next few weeks but for all of my fellow cKs soldiers that aren’t in the tournament at this point I have exciting news for you. On Monday February 1st cKs will be starting its endeavor into Urgent Fury: Long Winter Nights. For all who are living under a rock, R2D2, this is a double elimination, 8v8, night maps only tournament that will last about two weeks.
For those who have been around for these past few weeks you should have noticed our weekly wars with the [ReD] clan. We are currently 2-0 against this fellow UF clan. The most recent one went down to the wire so I urge you not to take this clan lightly.
Also, as stated by our fearless leader, we are looking to get 15 friendly wars a month. So it would be in your best interests to be active on SOCOM and get into those wars. That is what being is cKs is all about.

With the beginning of the year came a shine of light, as 8 teams began to wage war against each other. Yes, I am talking about the one and only Doubles tournament!!!! 8 teams battling it out for ultimate supremacy. In the beginning, their were 8 teams after two weeks, only 5 remain. The best is yet to come. Who will conquer, who will fall. Only 1 shall remain in the end, who's it going to be.
The teams are Pistols Only, M&Ms, Team Ramrod, Natural Killers, The Mooninites, Inglorious Masters, Team Third Wheel, and trying to retain their championship cup, the Deadly Kelowna Boys.
As of right now the leading the pack is Inglorious Masters with 6 territories, right behind them is the unlikely duo Team Third Wheel with 4 territories. The Mooninites have 4. Natural Killers with 2 territories. Deadly Kelowna Boys currently has 1 territory.
Now comes the fun part were tensions rise on the battlefront. Every war counts and the time to shine and show cKs what your made of is now. Your team will either make it or break it. So come prepared and don’t underestimate your opponents.
As the year ended, so did UF:Black, and what a year it was. Urgent Fury: Black, the year long tournament that runs January through December, has seen its ups and downs, but who am i kidding, we kicked ass all year long! With a final record of 57-21-4, cKs had the second best record of all UF:Black (even after joining the tournament two months late!!!)
Darth_Cedaus- Starting late into the tournament, we finished second overall in wins with 57-21-4, behind none other then LPK. How does that make you feel?
SlitherX- It actually frustrates me at times, knowing that this clan has the potential to earn 70. In retrospect so many losses could have been avoided, but because of the smallest things, they were not. This is something we will look to improve on in 2010. However, with this being our inaugural Urgent Fury Tournament, along with starting a few months late, the boys did well.
Darth_Cedaus- We dominated in the regular season, but unfortunately we fell short in the playoffs. Do you think this brought us closer as a family in the long run?
SlitherX- It did, there is no questioning it. Everyone who was in that battle could tell you that, even though it was a loss, it was one of the more spectacular moments we had as a clan. The meaning behind it, could potentially be more valuable than the BDSL Victory. Some members are starting to realize this already.
Darth_cedaus- UF Black is now over. As General, what were your expectations, and were they met?
SlitherX- A very tough question to answer, because going into the Tournament, obviously the expectation is to Win. In that aspect, our expectations were not met. However over the course of the Season, along with the playoffs. In a lot of ways, we exceeded our expectations. Even though the end result was a loss, the way we conducted ourselves through the difficult times, and how we performed late in the season, cannot be overlooked.
Darth_cedaus- How about you HotWire? As Lieutenant, what were your expectations, and were they met?
HotWire_- At the very beginning going into Urgent Fury, I didn't really know what to expect. It was a new tournament, new clans, and new competition. What I did know was that cKs is a very capable clan. I wanted this tournament to be a means to make the Urgent Fury community see that we can be a very dominant and competitive clan and make a name for ourselves. In that sense I believe cKs did exactly what I wanted. We may not have won the entire tournament, but we did finish 2nd in most wins and 2nd in most points during the regular season, and with a Quarter-final appearance I couldn't be more proud. Unfortunately we did not win the entire tournament but we made our stamp in the UF community, thats a win in my book.
